Many students are disenchanted with science due to traditional knowledge-based learning. In this digital information era, Youth Neuro Australia aspires to engage students in STEM through our Scinapse program. Developed in collaboration with the NSW Department of Education, our series of four workshops introduce Year 9-10 students to science as a way of thinking and provide them opportunities to apply creativity and critical thinking to real-life scenarios. Informed by the neuroscience of learning, Scinapse equips students with transferable skills useful in high school and beyond. Because Science is more than a subject – It’s a lifestyle.
