The SISP program produces this free, online event which brings together Australia’s and the world’s leading experts on innovation, creativity and STEM.
As major event partner, the SISP team will take a lead role in this event with the inclusion of a Plants in Space showcase, model bottle rocket designing and testing, Mars Rover robotics simulations and the international Rover Challenge.
The 2021 International Rover Challenge for Schools is an initiative of the SISP program in collaboration with COSPAR-K, Aldrin Foundation, Andy Thomas Space Foundation, The Australian Space Agency, Monash University and the University of Adelaide.
SISP is working in collaboration with the NSW Cyber Security Innovation Node and AustCyber to develop a smart cities cyber security unit of work and a supporting teaching and learning program to be piloted in SISP program secondary schools in 2021.
The Central Coast Academy of STEM Excellence is working in collaboration with AmpControl, Pfizer and the University of Newcastle to deliver this biomedical engineering iSTEM module which was developed around the rapid prototyping of emergency ventilators during the COVID pandemic by AmpControl.
SISP is collaborating with the NSW Surveying Task Force to produce a series of surveying and geospatial engineering activities that can be used in a range of STEM syllabuses.
