SISP Focus Projects

Growing Sustainable Businesses with STEM showcases eleven Australian enterprises using STEM to tackle environmental challenges through innovative solutions. Funded by the NSW Department of Education and produced by Piece Together Productions, this project features 35 short films highlighting businesses such as the Byron Solar Train, Plastic Collective, and Flow Hive, which are pioneering sustainability in energy, recycling, agriculture, and more. From carbon capture technology to regenerative farming, these enterprises demonstrate the power of STEM in creating a sustainable future, inspiring students to explore STEM-driven solutions for global challenges.

The International Day of Mathematics Webinar with Eddie Woo successfully engaged students across all stages in a dynamic exploration of mathematics, art, and creativity. Hosted by the NSW Department of Education's STEM Enrichment and Maths Curriculum teams in partnership with the University of Sydney.
