A free online workshop for educators to increase girls' participation in STEM, hosted by Australia's Women in STEM Ambassador and Questacon.
About this Event
Are you an educator interested in improving girls' engagement with STEM? Australia's Women in STEM Ambassador and Questacon, the National Science and Technology Centre, are teaming up for a virtual workshop for educators of students in years 5-8!
You'll hear from Women in STEM Ambassador and astrophysicist, Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith, talk to women in STEM about their exciting and diverse careers and share strategies and resources to increase girls' participation in STEM.
In response to COVID-19, the event will be delivered as a live virtual workshop. We aim to include more educators from across Australia by delivering the workshop online. You will be emailed further details about the workshop closer to the date.
We apologise that we will no longer be offering scholarships to attend the event as educators will not be travelling to participate.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about the event.
