STEM2020 On Demand: Strategies for a Rapidly Changing World

STEM 2020 On Demand: Strategies for a Rapidly Changing World, is an innovative on demand event, demonstrating the power of technology during these challenging times. It is an initiative of the NSW Department of Education through its Learning and Teaching Directorate.

Developed as a result of the cancellation of the original live event, STEM 2020 On Demand brings together some of Australia’s and the world’s experts on creativity, innovation and STEM, including:

  • Sir Ken Robinson - Revolutionizing Education from the Ground Up
  • Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith - Increasing Girls’ Participation in STEM
  • Dr Jordan Nguyen - Adapting to Rapid Change Between STEM & Humanity
  • Felicity Furey - Engagement in STEM: Making it happen
  • Dr Alan Finkel AO - The importance of STEM
  • Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen - Keeping unconscious bias out of a STEM classroom
  • Dr Karl Kruszelnicki AO - Future Careers in STEM
  • Suzy Urbaniak - #therealclassroom  collaboration of industry and education partnerships
  • Adam Spencer - These Amazing Times #NotCovid

The on demand event is made up of a series of outstanding keynote addresses, exclusively produced for registered participants. Once registered, you can view the videos at any time over a period of one month.

You will also be able to connect with like minded colleagues through a range of digital media including the Whova App and through social media channels, in order to continue the professional dialogue.
