Student Opportunity - Big Science Competition - Year 7 to 10 School Students
The Big Science Competition is a free online test for students in Years 7 - 10 to track their performance against the state or national averages. There are opportunities for those who perform well, like invitations to mentoring programs for girls.
It’s a 50 minute, multiple-choice competition that can be sat any time between 17 - 28 May 2021 testing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Visit the website to register.
Student Opportunity - Australian Brain Bee Challenge - Year 10 School Students
The Australian Brain Bee Challenge (ABBC) is a competition for Year 10 students to learn about the brain, neuroscience research and careers, and to shed light on neurological and mental illnesses. There are 4 Rounds to the ABBC and the first round is online. Teachers can enrol students for the competition via their website.
Student Opportunity - Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) – Upper Primary and Secondary Students
