STEM Grants for Students
At the national level, Inspiring Australia is offering grants of up to $20,000 to schools and community groups to encourage students under 18 years of age to participate in STEM competitions and learning activities. In NSW, the Office of the Chief Scientist and Engineer is also supporting both high school and tertiary students' participation in STEM activities with funding.
EdTech Youth Challenge
IBM Australia, the Australian Museum and Macquarie University have launched an AI challenge for Australian students to identify and help solve some of the planet’s greatest issues. The IBM EdTech Youth Challenge is open to all schools throughout Australia for students in years 7 to 10, with more than $15k in prizes available for the winning ideas.
STEM Engagement Grants
Inspiring Australia NSW grants are available for National Science Week and Year-Round events including up to $5,000 for community events and $8,000 for events series presented by Science Hubs. EOIs close 22 March 2021. We are also seeking EOIs from experienced event presenters for one grant of $25,000 towards a major event or program series to mark #scienceweek in NSW.
