International Day of Women and Girls in Science

Superstars of STEM

In recognition of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science the NSW Department of Education’s  Science Curriculum Team has recorded a webinar with 5 Superstars of STEM. The Superstars have been recognised by Science and Technology Australia as outstanding role models showing girls that STEM is for them. Science & Technology Australia Chief Executive Officer Misha Schubert said ‘ It is hard to be what you can’t see. Women are still seriously under-represented in STEM - especially at the senior leadership levels’.

Give your girls the opportunity to hear from these 5 brilliant scientists, technologists and engineers by viewing our webinar at https://education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/curriculum/key-learning-areas/science
